Growth Factors

What are growth factors and why are they an important ingredient in skin care?

Growth factors are natural proteins created by our cells to maintain healthy skin. They inspire accelerated tissue growth and are a key component in supporting the repair of damaged skin and producing collagen.

As we age, the amount of growth factors our cells create is much smaller, and incorporating EGF serums into our skin care regimen can supplement that loss. Epidermal Growth factor serums provide topical support for cell renewal supporting a youthful appearance of the skin.

Epidermal Growth Factor (rh-Oligopeptide-1) is a vital protein found in the fibroblast cells of the dermal layer and aids in stimulating cells so that they produce collagen. This is a very key substance that adds to the youthful appearance of the skin.

Epidermal Growth Factor ultimately aids in cell renewal. As new epidermis cells are coming to the top of the skin, Epidermal Growth Factor gives cells integrity, strength and healing. This is vital to overall epidermis cell health.

How do RA Pro Youth -10 Growth Factor formulations differ from others on the market?

Our growth factors were developed for skin going through trauma to increase the healing time and strengthen the new cells coming to the surface. The formulations are synergistically infused with various natural components and intensified with active antioxidants to effectively support the skin. With various textures (cream or serums) to benefit each skin type, anyone with visible signs of aging must add a growth factor!

Cleansing

This is the first step of your regimen.

Apply 1 pump of cleanser onto clean, damp hands and gently massaging into the skin. Add more water to create lather and work into skin for 1-2 minutes. Remove with gentle (soft) white cloth for several rinses if needed. Pat or air-dry skin before applying next step.

This is the most important step of any acne regimen! Rotating or having two cleansers can help keep skin responding. It is very important to use a soft cloth or 4x4 gauze to remove.

Tonic

This is the next step of your regimen after cleansing.

Apply 1-2 pumps of tonic onto a clean cotton round or 2x2 gauze pad. Apply to clean, dry skin. Let product absorb.

Tonics are a vital component in most acne regimens. These may be used full face or as a spot treatment over acne blemishes. Depending on the tonic, application may range from one to three times per week, to a daily application.
